One of the undisputed classics of the psychobilly wave, up there with the Meteors' "In Heaven" and "Held Down At Last" by Guana Batz, Demented Are Go's 1986 debut album combines absolutely smokin' hot rockabilly with the fury of British Punk and song lyrics that can only be described as, um, demented. Glorious rock and roll hymns like "Pervy in the Park", "Transvestite Blues," and "(I Was Born on a) Busted Hymen" (not to mention the craziest version of Gene Vincent's classic "Be Bop A Lula" ever made!) speak for themselves. A must!
